I can't believe it is already the middle of march! Time is just flying by. I have been in Texas for 6 months now and still loving every bit of it. My job is just fabulous, challenging but awesome. I love all the people I work with and enjoy looking at the patients and their families faces when I tell them I am from California! Talk about a conversation starter. These past few months have been extremely busy, I went back to Cali at the end of January to surprise both my brothers for there birthday (thankfully they are only a day apart, minus the eighteen years). Going back in January was great, I had no been back since November and it was so great to see those that I was able to squeeze in. Not even a month later I was heading back to Cali for my lovely cousins wedding and to throw a baby shower with my girlfriends for my best friend Emma and her baby. It was one crazy weekend, but then again loved seeing all my family but at the end was ready to head back to Texas. Once I got back I really haven't stopped working, we got a new computer charting system at work which has made my hours increase for some time during all the trainings and being on call for extra help.
In the middle of all the craziness I have been house hunting for a place to live. I am so excited to get my own place again. I am ready, so thankful for the past months of being able to save and payoff my student loans, but ready to have my own kitchen and space again. Y'all know me and how I am just like my mother and love to organize, cook, and fiddle around the house and I am hoping I will gain the green thumb she has.
As for my prince charming, well lets just say he has not saved his princess yet! But in time he will be at my tower to rescue me. Or in Texas language he will ride on a horse to rescue me.
I am excited to see what this spring and summer brings, well besides the heat! I am excited to go and take more adventures like zip lining, hangout out by the local lake, and taking small road trips to other parts of Texas as well as the bordering states.
Hopefully soon a new post will be added about my new place and more adventures taken. As for now everyday is an adventure and love making an impact in this city!
Blessings, Y'all.
